“The founder of the New York- and Boston-based firm NADAAA has completed three architecture school buildings—a feat that no one else is known to have achieved. Each building will inevitably convey lessons about architecture to students who use it—giving Tehrani (who is also the dean of the Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture at New York’s Cooper Union) an unprecedented degree of influence over architecture education.”

Nader has been featured in Architectural Digest. Read more HERE

DFALD Featured in Metropolis

The Daniels Building is featured in Metropolis Magazine’s July/August print issue written by Alex Bozikovic.

“The question was, how do you not mimic the existing building, but speak to it in a corresponding way?” says Nader Tehrani of NADAAA. They found an answer: a new wing that shows, with forms that are spiky and radically contemporary, how design can deal with the past and also change the city.”

Tanderrum Wins at Victorian Architecture Awards

For the first time, the Melbourne Prize was presented equally to two projects, the Tanderrum Bridge and the 2016 NGV Architecture Commission by M@ Studio Architects. Projects that received an architecture award or named award will be considered for the National Architecture Awards, to be announced in Canberra in November.

“The lightweight industrial quality of steel trussed railway structures and branches of the park’s elm trees influenced the character of the bridge. The result is a filigree character that provides the “framework for a journey” between two starkly different landscapes.”
