On Friday Nader will join Kadambari Baxi, Giovanna Borasi, Matthew Buckingham, Michael Meredith, and Susan Sellers for a Panel Discussion titled “Search and Research” at Columbia’s GSAPP. The discussion will be moderated by Amale Andraos, Dean of GSAPP and will be held in the East Gallery of Buell Hall at 4pm.

The event is held in conjunction with the opening of The Other Architect at the Arthur Ross Architecture Gallery. The exhibition is organized by the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) and curated by Giovanna Borasi.

Nader and Alejandro at Cooper

NADAAA with Raya Kassisieh at Amman Design Week

Tomorrow Amman Design Week opens to the public and includes a new exhibit entitled ENTRELAC created as a collaboration between artist Raya Kassisieh, NADAAA, and local craftswomen.  The exhibit will run through September 9th in The Hangar. Katie Faulkner will also be lecturing as part of Amman Design Week at The Jordan Museum on Friday Sept. 2nd at 7pm EET.

More to come on this exhibit as it is made public!

Nader to Lecture at THINK, DESIGN, BUILD | Berlin

On June 2 Nader will take part in a panel discussion in the Techincal University of Berlin joined by MVRDV co-founder Jacob van Rijs, Tobias Armborst of Interboro Partners, Freek Persyn from 51n4e, and Pier Paolo Tamburellli of Baukuh. Ralf Pasel and designer Ilka Ruby will moderate and Toyo Ito will give the keynote lecture on Friday,  June 3rd.

The conference will look at the fundamental aspects of practices in architecture, in particular, the Design panel ‘will look at the design conception of architecture and thus at the design process as an agent and catalyst between idea and realisation’.The panel will be moderated by architect , and will also include  and Nader Tehrani from Nadaaa.  for the event.

Facades+ is coming to Boston on June 17th at the Omni Parker House. Katie is co-chairing the conference with Ryan Salvas of CW Keller + Associates and Diana Darling of Architect’s Newspaper.

Nader to lecture at Marywood University
