The glu-lam coffers at University of Melbourne are being prefabricated off-site and prepared for installation. Each module differs in dimensions, faceted to integrate with the suspended studio.

This Is How You Add 444 sqm to A Building

The cantilever on University of Melbourne FABP in the process of erection: a one week process. Soon hereafter, it will be covered by the same pre-cast panels as the rest of the building. The diagonal strut will remain exposed behind the layer of vertical louvers. Stay tuned!

One of many events held as part of the 2013 London Festival of Architecture, the Atlas of the Unbuilt World exhibition brought together sixty-five architectural models of future projects from thirty-nine countries – including John Wardle Architects and NADAAA’s Faculty of Architecture Building and Planning project.
